I hear sleigh bells ringing…
The house smells like evergreen trees. The kitchen smells like ham and various other foods. There are presents laying under the tree. Can you guess what holiday I am thinking of? Well, of course I am talking about Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have such great memories at this time of the year. The snow is falling, the heat is blasting making the house all toasty and I am surrounded by the ones I love the most. Some people think that Christmas is all about presents and gifts, but that is not the true reality about Christmas. Christmas is actually about the time you spend with your loved ones. There is nothing like sitting on the couch after a big meal talking with the ones you care the most about. That is what I love about Christmas. Usually there is not a time when everybody in my family can get together, but everybody makes an effort for Christmas. I remember when I was little and all my cousins used to travel hours to spend the Christmas holiday with family. Of course, now that everybody has gotten older it has gotten harder to all meet us, but nevertheless, we still think about each other all the time.
